We are located just off Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo, CA. Take the Monterey St exit.

Hotel Buena Vista is only about a mile away from the Grand Ave entrance to Cal Poly.

Check-in is from 4pm to 9pm. Check-out is 12 pm (noon).

Hotel Buena Vista does not have a restaurant on the property, but there are several restaurants within walking distance including The Apple Farm, 1865, Leroy’s and Gino’s Pizza.

The San Luis Obispo area offers many fun activities including beaches, hiking trails, wineries, Mission de Tolosa, plus our downtown experience including restaurants, breweries, and shopping. Hearst Castle is a 50-minute drive on Highway 1 North.

Avila Beach and Pismo Beach are a quick 15-minute drive south on Highway 101. Morro Bay is a 20-minute drive northwest on Highway 1.
